Lauren joined Two Rivers Housing as a Business Administration apprentice in August 2012. She quickly became a valuable member of the administration team and earned a reputation for hard work and willingness, which resulted in multiple nominations from her colleagues that have been rewarded at several of the annual staff recognition events.
She joined Centigen in May 2014 to bring order and structure to the team. (Good luck with that then, Lauren!)
Outside work, Lauren enjoys shopping and eating at a certain chain of restaurants that we’re not allowed to name, but they named a jug after it – or maybe vice versa?!
Paul’s military background and experience at running his own business make him the ideal person to lead our grounds maintenance team. 17 years in the Royal Navy in roles including Operations Manager and PT Instructor (in the Arctic Circle) taught him how to manage people and logistics, often under stressful – and icy cold! – conditions.
Before joining us, he ran his own very successful tree and garden company, where his business depended upon delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.
Paul is a real sports enthusiast and, although he’s not as active as he used to be, he still loves to put leather on willow and turn out for his local cricket team.
Jackie used to travel the length and breadth of the country servicing photocopiers. Then she gave up the nomadic lifestyle and spent several years providing technical administrative support for a couple of local businesses – including her husband’s busy plumbing firm.
There she was responsible for pricing quotations, looking after the accounts and dealing with customer queries – basically making sure everything was running smoothly back at base.
When not at work Jackie is forced to stay fit with four dogs to exercise, which is just as well when the garden and her family are also demanding attention.
