Centigen celebrates birthday with national awards
Centigen celebrated its third birthday with the news that it has been declared a winner in a national magazine’s awards.
The Newent-based company was named ‘Best Grounds Maintenance and Commercial Cleaning Business – Bristol’ and winner of the ‘Build Customer Services Excellence Award’ by Build Magazine.
Build Magazine says its “prestigious awards are dedicated to recognising those hidden heroes within the facilities management role for their excellence and dedication to their profession.”
Centigen has been steadily growing its business over the last three years, focusing mainly on grounds maintenance and commercial cleaning. Over the last 18 months, it has secured an increasing number of clients in the Bristol area, and this has been recognised in one of the awards.
Centigen is now expanding into property repairs and maintenance and is working with several local construction companies to look after their new developments.
The company is a subsidiary of local charity Two Rivers Housing, and all profits are donated to its parent so that it can continue providing low cost homes to rent and services to its tenants.
Gerry McFall, Managing Director of Centigen, said: “We have enjoyed great success since we launched three years ago, as more and more clients have recognised Centigen combines good value with quality service. They also really appreciate our connection with a housing charity, and like to know that they are helping to invest in something for the greater good.”
